The frangrance opens with notes of mugwort and lavandin, heart notes tonka bean and resting on a lush base of cedarwood and patchouli, which result in a woody and ambery fragrance. An earthy, rough and masculine combination, with hints of herbs, representing the circle of live.
Atropos
Atropos was one of the three Moirai in Greek mythology, goddesses who decided the fate of every human that lived on the earth. Atropos, along with her sisters Clotho and Lachesis, were considered to be the daughters of Zeus and Themis, the goddess of divine law.
Atropos is the oldest sister and the cutter of threads who ends the life. She was the one who decided how each human would die, and held shears in her hand with which she cut the thread of life. Our Atropos symbolizes the unstable nature of life. The result is a very spicy, citrusy and warm aroma that invites you to relax and soothe your senses.
“Comes the blind Fury with th’abhorred shears, / And slits the thin spun life.”
(John Milton, Lycida, 1. 75)
